NIB Donates To Asogli

The National Investment Bank (NIB) has presented an amount of GH¢40,000.00 to the Asogli Educational Fund as part of its corporate social responsibility to support communities in which it operates.

The donation is to assist the Fund offer scholarships to brilliant but needy children within the Asogli State to assist their education and also support educational infrastructure provision for deprived communities within the Asogli State.

The donation was presented by Alfred Thompson, Deputy Managing Director of NIB, who led a delegation to the Asogli State Yam Festival recently in Ho.

The bank also pledged GH¢5,000.00 seed money towards the newly launched Ghana Medical Aid Fund of the Asogli State during the Asogli State Dinner Dance on Saturday, 16thSeptember 2017.

The Fund would provide quality medical services to under-privileged children within the Asogli State and beyond who have special medical conditions.

Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State and President of the National House of Chiefs, urged corporate institutions to support the Fund so that it can restore hope to deprived children who are born with deformities.

Togbe Afede XIV hopes to extend the support beyond the Asogli State to the whole of the country in the near future.
