The Ghana Police Service has assured Ghanaians that they have ceased from the taking of bribes and extortion.
Some of the corrupt Police officers have been noted to extort monies from drivers and traffic offenders whenever they meet them on the roads.
The Police Service led by the new IGP, Dr Akufo Dampare is assuring the good people of Ghana that they have shunned the act they have been known for.
In a video making rounds on social media, some police officers were seen rubbing their plam against each other as they spewed out the vow that henceforth, they are not taking bribes.
The sudden development has left some Ghanaians confused as to whether the Police really meant what they said in the video.
