Dr. Ibrahim Anyars with Abass Zakaria
The Tamale Central Constituency NPP Parliamentary Primaries has started at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
A total number of 725 delegates are expected to vote in the Tamale Central Constituency with 18 electoral area.
The Chief Executive Officer of NABCO, Dr. Ibrahim Barihama Anyars and Abass Zakaria, are battling to represent the New Patriotic Party in the Tamale Central Constituency.
Dr. Barihama Anyars appealed to delegates to ensure that the primaries ends without misunderstandings.
He assured the party that should he be elected to represent it for the 2020 election, he would capture the Tamale Central seat for the NPP.
Mr. Zakaria, on his part, appealed to delegates to vote for a candidate who can secure the Tamale Central seat for the party.
The seat is occupied by a National Democratic Congress MP.
