Majority Chief Whip and New Patriotic Party, Member of Parliament for Nsawam/Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has stated that the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia led government has a great vision to develop the country despite the challenges facing hence the need for all to rally behind the government to succeed.
Annoh-Dompreh also tasked the members of the Elephant family to use every means they get to propagate the goods works of the ruling government to Ghanaians since the party have a success story to tell not allow the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to deceive Ghanaians with lies.
In a series of posts on his Twitter page, the Majority Chief Whip said “Looking into the future with lots of prospects for the NPP government. Join us as we strive to change the narrative. We certainly have a good story to tell”.
“Let’s push for more. The NPP is visionary& more determined…Let’s tell our stories” he tweeted among others”.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, has recently taken it upon himself to propagate the ruling government projects on his Twitter handle with pictorial evidence.
He also uses the medium to urge his fellow MPs and other NPP communicators to propagate the good works of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo/Bawumia led government.
He said members of the NPP must at all times be the mouthpiece for government developmental projects across the country.
According to him “From now to election, I will make sure I will sell government projects”, adding that to him, the move of selling government projects to the masses will help ‘Break The 8’ in the next presidential election.
He also explained that the government has undertaken several projects such as; the construction of roads, health centres, educational infrastructure, and astroturf projects among others ongoing in his constituency.
He added that with the projects alone ongoing in his constituency, he will make sure he gets more votes to increase the last election margin for both the Parliamentary and Presidential election come 2024.
He also insisted their priority is staying in touch with the needs of the ordinary Ghanaian and winning the next elections for the sake of the country and for the sake of posterity which would enable them to safeguard and preserve their rich legacies including, the National Health Insurance, Livelihood Empowerment against Poverty, Capitation Grant, Ghana School Feeding Program, Free SHS, the formalization of the economy for increased revenue generation, and the other integrated initiatives supporting the agro-industry like One District One Factory and the Planting for Food and Jobs among others.
Annoh-Dompreh as part of his strategy to propagate the NPP government programmes, recently organised a workshop for the Majority Members of Parliament to develop a workable relationship between the committee leadership of the Majority Caucus and the Ministers of the Executive, to strengthen the front of the NPP administration.
He told the members to sell the government since the NDC will come in their numbers in an attempt to sway and collapse the foundation of the set policies which they cannot formulate.
“For unlike them, we are more than competent to create, sustain, and propel the visions and aspirations of Ghana onto higher heights when we put our minds and bodies to the task” he told the Majority MPs.
He added that “We should always be equipped and ready to show Ghanaians, beyond any reasonable doubt, our brilliant initiatives as and when they take place because if that is what the people want to see when they vote us into power”.
The Member of Parliament for the Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency, however, appealedl to Ghanaians to rally behind the government to succeed.
