He said the accident was reported to have happened on the Bibiani to Tarkwa road when he was on his way to Accra after attending a function at Manukrom in the Ashanti Region.

He told journalists that upon reaching the Mines Junction on the Bibiani-Tarkwa road, a Toyota Camry vehicle which was moving in the opposite direction suddenly veered onto the lane of the MP’s vehicle.

“The driver of the MP attempted to swerve to the other lane but realized that there was a tricycle on it and crashing it would result in some casualties since there were some persons on board,” he narrated.

He said the MP’s driver had no option than to drive the vehicle into a nearby bush and that no casualties were recorded.

Harry Addo added that the MP was responding to treatment at the Bibiani Government Hospital.
