The UK communications directorate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has denounced a false publication alleging “Dr Bawumia gifted £80,000 to Women’s Conference in the United Kingdom (UK).
According to the party in UK, the publication is not only false but is also a dangerous and very disturbing fabrication.
The NPP UK Branch emphatically states that no such amount has been offered or received by anyone.
The party said the false publications which aim to smear the reputation of the Vice President and the Premier Branch of the party should be disregarded and treated with the contempt that they deserve, a statement issued by the party stated.
The statement goes on to assure all NPP UK Branch members and the general public that the party is making every effort to track down those who are behind these false and malicious publications.
In conclusion, the NPP UK Branch expressed its commitment to maintaining its values of truth, integrity, and accountability, and called for the public to support its efforts in promoting these values.
The statement was signed by the Director of Communications of the NPP UK, Kwaku Bimpeh.
