Nasinmong Laar Haruna II with Dr. Bawumia at Gbankoni
Paramount Chief of the Gbankoni Traditional Area, Nasinmong Laar Haruna II, has predicted that the New Patriotic Party(NPP) led by President Akufo-Addo will win the December 7 general elections with a big margin.
“ Your Excellency, Your government will win the elections with a very big margin I am assuring you,” he told Vice President Bawumia.
He commended Dr. Bawumia during his tour to the Gbankoni traditional area for being the first Vice President who has taken the pain to visit every constituency in the country including Gbankoni and its surrounding villages.
“ We thank you for having the time to move to the grassroots level to meet people, I think these are the sort of politicians we are looking for , we don’t need a politician who will tell you to meet them somewhere , you came to my doorstep and I know you have respected me and I cherish it so much.”
The Paramount Chief of Gbankoni lauded government for the Free SHS and Planting for Good and Jobs policies
“ this policy that i cherish so much that’s for food and jobs , it’s a very nice and we in the farming communities cherish it so much so we are praying that when you win the December 7 elections more of such policies Gould be introduced .”
Chief Haruna II, appealed to government for a police post to help tackle criminal activities in Gbankoni and its surroundings.
“ fertilizers and other things are smuggled into Togo because we are closer to the border and for that matter if there a police post here it will help tackle the smuggling and criminal activities.”
He also requested for a clinic in the Gnankoni area, saying their only source of hospital was located in Binde several kilometers away.
