Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie receiving his portrait from Nana B
TWO stalwarts of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have received special commendations for their tremendous support and contributions to the development of the party’s National Youth Wing.
The Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Opare-Osei, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Forestry Commission, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, aka Sir John, were given beautiful portraits of themselves by the National Youth Wing, as a sign of appreciation for their continuous support.
In a citation from the Youth Wing read by NPP Youth Organizer Henry Nana Boakye, aka Nana B, the two NPP stalwarts were praised for “guiding the growth of the party’s Youth Wing to its current pedigree.”
“I visited the Chief of Staff of the Republic, Hon. Frema Opare-Osei, to commend her for the tremendous support and contributions to the development of the NPP National Youth Wing. I presented on behalf of the National Youth Wing a special citation in recognition of her priceless efforts towards the development of the National Youth Wing all these years,” Nana B stated.
According to him, on a similar mission, he met with the former Chief Scribe of the NPP, who is now the CEO of the Forestry Commission, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, aka Sir John, to present the National Youth Wing’s special citation to him for his immeasurable contributions to the cause of the Youth Wing.
