Participants at the launch
Nsaa Play Limited has launched Chop Money, a mobile raffle platform designed to make entering prize draws more convenient and accessible to Ghanaians.
The platform was unveiled at the Accra City Hotel and offers two ways to participate. It does not require an app download and the USSD option allows participation without internet connection.
For GH¢5 per ticket, participants can enter raffles for prizes ranging from smartphones and electronics to shopping vouchers and everyday essentials.
The first raffle opens in November 2026, with five winners scheduled to be drawn on December 4, 2026.
“Our ambition is to make participating straightforward and accessible, while giving people an exciting way to engage with prizes that are relevant to their everyday lives,” said Albert Aryee, General Manager of Nsaa Play Limited.
The platform will publish details of available prizes and rules for each raffle, so participants can understand what is on offer before entering.
“Prizes are an important part of the excitement, and we want to offer items people recognize, value, and look forward to winning,” Mr Aryee added.
He said participants may purchase multiple tickets where permitted by rules of the relevant raffle with each valid ticket providing an entry while holding more tickets increases the number of entries a participant has in that draw.
A representative of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) Caritas Team, Akua Serwaa Adu Darko, confirmed that Chop Money met required standards and received the Authority’s official approval to operate its raffle draws.
Following the launch, Nsaa Play intends to introduce further raffles and prizes as it develops Chop Money within Ghana’s digital entertainment market.
