Nura Ladi Makes Ghana Proud At Face Of Beauty International

Nura Ladi, Ghana’s representative at the just-ended Face of Beauty International 2018 in India, has made her country proud out there.

Even though she has missed the ultimate crown, she made it to the top 10, which has been described as a remarkable feat.

Nura, 26, was among some 43 finalists who took part in this year’s global pageant held at the luxurious grand ballroom of City Park Resort in Delhi, India.

Miss Myanmar, Myint Mo May, emerged ultimate the winner. She beat the other hopefuls, including Nura, to win the seventh edition of the pageant.

Latvia’s Linda Novika won first runner-up while Nicaragua’s Geyssell García took the second runner-up.

The Face of Beauty International pageant has been described as a reputable pageant that aims to develop young female leaders from around the world who personify the combination of beauty and intelligence that defines the 21st century.

During the event, contestants stayed in the host country, they participated in ‘stop violence against women’ and ‘save the girl child’ rally in India making all efforts to pass the message to locals.

Nura, who is a level 300 student at GIMPA studying operations and supply chain management, did her best to be among the top 10.

She is a model, actress and entrepreneur. She also has a charity organisation, The Nor Foundation, that focuses on educating underprivileged children and empowering women.

“I am Face of Beauty Ghana 2018 and representing Ghana in India for the Face of Beauty International 2018 is a unique opportunity. I love my country so much and proud to be a black Ghanaian women. I am very excited about the opportunity to put Ghana out there,” she indicated.
