Odeneho Kwaku Appiah
The Ashanti Regional Constituency Chairmen Association of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has elected Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, as its Chairman.
The other officers are Patrick Adu Gyamfi, Vice Chairman; Samuel Antwi Boasiako, Secretary; Akwasi Nti Asamoah, Organizer and Aikins Addai Poku, Treasurer, with Yaw Bonna Boadi and Kwabena Ameyaw as Advisors.
The association comprises all the chairmen in the 47 constituencies of the region.
Odeneho Appiah said that his focus is to ensure that things are done in a way that will promote peace in the party.
He said it is important to make sure that the governing party emerges stronger and more united after its upcoming internal elections.
The association, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah said, is eager to see to it that there are no infightings in any part of the region ahead of the elections.
The chairman added that this requires that they work closely with the party structures at all levels so that laid down procedures are upheld for smooth conduct of the polls.
He gave assurance of quick resolution of all internal wrangling to strengthen the confidence party members have in their leaders.
Odeneho said they would also work hard to ensure the successful implementation of the government’s policies and programmes and keep the party members adequately informed of them (policies and programmes).
He called on all to unite solidly behind the government as it takes steps to transform the economy – build a society that works for everybody.
