Okyeame Kwame
Celebrated hiplife artiste, Okyeame Kwame, also known as Rap Doctor, has been invited to perform at this year’s edition of a musical event dubbed ‘Hiplife Party 4’ slated for Monday, December 25 at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in Accra.
The award-winning artiste, who is the headline act, would be performing live with a band and is poised to entertain patrons on the day with most of his hit songs.
The event is expected to attract thousands of music lovers from all walks of life. Music lovers and fans should expect a fun-packed night at the event which kicks off at 7pm.
It promises to be an unforgettable and exciting experience that music lovers cannot afford to miss.
Organised by OK Music, the event will also witness performances from some selected artistes such as Kwabena Kwabena, Afriyie Wutah, Abiana, Souly Bird, Crazy Keys, Screwface, Root I, Abochi, among others.
It will be a night of exciting live band presentation where the celebrated Okyeame Kwame and his colleagues will entertain music fans.
DJs on the bill are DJ Kaxro and Andy Dosty.
Patrons who would throng the +233 Jazz Bar will be thrilled beyond their expectation at the event, which will also serve as a social medium that will allow lovers from different backgrounds to network, mingle and be entertained with great music.
According to Okyeame Kwame, the Hiplife Party is an initiative to help protect and preserve the hiplife genre, a music type which gained prominence in Ghana in the mid 90s.
The event has in the past featured great hiplife artistes such as Akatayie, Chicago, Kwaw Kese, Abrewa Nana, Tinny, among others.
