Onua TV, a subsidiary of Media General Group, has announced a lot more exciting television viewing experience as it introduces new programmes.
It would start airing Onua Maakye (Morning Show) and COVID-19 Nkomo from today, while a third show, 100 Degrees, would hit the screens on Friday, May 1, 2020.
Onua Maakye is a daily three-hour show from Monday to Friday between 6:00am and 9:00am. It is an informative and entertaining television magazine programme which would tackle the very issues of concern for the citizenry with very thrilling segments.
COVID-19 Nkomo, on the other, is a one-hour television show which gives updates on the COVID-19 pandemic, capturing the impact of the disease on various aspects of social life in the country. It also offers education and awareness creation for the public on how to avoid getting or spreading the novel coronavirus.
The COVID-19 Nkomo would be heavy on audience engagement on social media and frequently interspersed with comments and posts of viewers. The show airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00am to 10:00am.
On Friday, May 1 2020, the station would premiere 100 Degrees, a one-hour political talk show with a ‘straight to the point’ host who does not mince words when probing into issues of concern. The show hosts political personalities from the various political parties, key personalities and makes a provision for the ordinary Ghanaian citizen to contribute to the state of affairs by going directly to them, shedding some light on topical issues, including corruption, elections and many more.
The hosts for these programmes would include Bright Kwesi Asempa, Adwoa Konadu Yiadom, Anokyewaba Adwoa Serwaa, Daniel Nana Kwame Yeboah and Christian Agyei Frimpong. It’s an exciting time on Onua TV now and viewers can’t afford to miss it.
