OpenLabs Ghana, formerly NIIT Tamale Campus, has held its 10th graduation ceremony under the theme “Unleashing Potential, Igniting Success”.

Thirty students graduated with Diploma and Certificate programmes including software engineering, network engineering, data analysis, cyber security and graphic design among others programmes.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony in Tamale, Head of OpenLabs Tamale Learning Centre, Baba Suhuyini Tayyib, said the theme reflects the very essence of what OpenLabs does and also demonstrates the school’s commitment to not just providing students with the necessary technical skills, but also to empower them to reach their full potential and realize their dreams.

“When we talk about Unleashing potential, we recognize that each person who enters our doors has a special set of abilities, goals and potential that is just waiting to be discovered,” he said.

He assured that the institution was prepared to give students the needed supportive environment, knowledgeable direction as well as cutting edge technical skills they need to realize their full potentials.

Mr. Baba who is a product of OpenLabs, commended the graduates for their efforts and dedication throughout a successful journey.

Mr. Issah Huzeru who represented the Northern Regional Director of Education, urged graduates that the graduation ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter in their lives and encouraged all the graduating students to use the skills acquired to make significant impact in their lives.

The Regional Sales Head at OpenLabs Ghana, Mr. Asadullah Khan said ICT in the 21st Century is essential and expressed concern about the competition in the job market and advised graduates to begin to explore with the skills acquired in school to make a better life for themselves in the near future.

The overall best student went to Jalil Issah.
