Orkman Limited Honours Widows On Mother’s Day

It was all fun at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Ashaley Botwe, when the management of Orkman Ghana Limited joined the women there to mark this year’s Mother’s Day.

The chief and queen mother of the area, priests and other religious leaders, as well as some celebrities, joined the women to make the day a memorable one.

This is the third time Orkman Ghana Limited, importers of high quality electronics and other household needs, have extended their love to women aside donating to the Bawjiase Orphanage and Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital in Accra.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Orkman Ghana Limited, Christian Okomanyi, in a statement, paid glowing tribute to women while acknowledging the significant role they play in the lives of their children.

“Orkman Ghana today celebrates our gallant women and we shall continue to motivate them to continue to do their best in our lives,” he indicated.

 “We have hard working women who go beyond all odds to cater for their children irrespective of the circumstances they find themselves in, and today we join the rest of the world to celebrate these women,” Mr. Okomanyi added.

The Parish Priest of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Ashaley Botwe, Rev. Friar Nimarious Kwabena Domanzing, mentioned that “women are our mothers and we must appreciate them on this special day.
