The chairman of the DreamChild Foundation, Olorogun Oskar C.J. Ibru, who is also the Chairman/CEO of IBRU Organisation, last Sunday paid a courtesy visit to President Akufo-Addo.

The visit aimed at officially informing thePresident about the upcoming “Hood Talk Music Festival” that would take place in Accra in September, as well as to ask for his support for the event.

Mr. Ibru gave the President, who had earlier endorsed the festival, a briefing on the occasion, which will be used to raise funds for the construction of five children’s hospitals in selected areas of the country.

He revealed that the DreamChild Foundation has already provided land for the Greater Accra Region’s first pediatric facility.

He, however, mentioned that the event will be held in Nigeria and some selected West African countries next year.

The first part of the inaugural event for the Hood Talk Music Festival will take place in September at the Kingdom Gardens, Ashiyie-Regimanuel Katamanso Estate in Accra, according to the organisers.

Similar concerts will be held in Tamale (September), Kumasi and Takoradi (October), and Ho (November).

The Dreamchild Foundation launched the HoodTalk Music Festival as a project to use music to engage young Ghanaians in conversation about current issues affecting their advancement while having fun.

The festival is being organised by the foundation in partnership with an audio-visual company, Virtual Hub.
