‘Our Blessings Must Benefit Others’ – Annette D

Annette D

Gospel singer Annette Danso, known in the gospel scene as Annette-D, has always believed that God bestows blessings on people for them to also bless others and that is why her annual “My Worship, My Sacrifice” concert is still dedicated to raising funds to provide amenities for a basic school at Sogakope Adidome in the Volta Region.

This year’s show, themed ‘I Will Extol Thee’, is scheduled for Sunday, October 20, at the Apostolic Church – Ghana, on the Kakemono Village road, near Tema. It aims at raising resources for the construction of a playground for the school.

“It is fine to let people know about God through the music talent He has blessed us with.  We must, however, also use our talent to meet some of their physical needs. That is why we keep raising funds to expand facilities for our school project,” Annette-D said.

She added that the recording of a live album was also on the cards, at the 3.00pm show. Annette-D already has four albums under her belt:  ‘M’Abuoden’ (2006), ‘Faithfulness’ (2010), ‘Eye’ (2013) and ‘Conqueror’ (2017).

Performers slated for the upcoming programme are Uncle Ato, Rev Cynthia Macaulay, Goldmann, Abena Amponsah, Deacon Sammy Baah, Ruth Adjei and Afro Jerrice.  There will also be ministration by Destiny Voices, Chosen Vessels and Global Voices with Rev Gabriel Ansah and Pastor Johnson Obon as guest preachers.

Annette-D, a past winner at the Bass Awards, says the October 20 event will be a splendid blend of impactful music and powerful preaching of God’s word.

This year’s ‘My Worship, My Sacrifice’ concert is supported by Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic, D’nells Closet, Ninamond Delight, Core Care, Bralex Ventures and TDee Productions.
