Over 50 Container Shops Burnt in Kumasi Central Market

A devastating fire broke out in the Kumasi Central Market, resulting in the destruction of over 50 container shops.

The incident occurred at the Aboabo end of the market, near the railway line.

However, thanks to the swift response of the sdept firefighters from the Manhyia, Komfo Anokye, Breman, BOST, and Regional Headquarters Substation. Further fire spread has been prevented.

Overhauling operations are also underway, focusing on extinguishing small pockets of fire and salvaging any remaining properties.
