Papaye Fast Foods Limited has organised its annual event dubbed ‘Our Day Special’ to honour 864 pupils from 33 public and private basic schools within Accra and Tema for their academic performance in their respective schools.
Each of the students was presented with a branded T-shirt and education materials for their studies at the Papaye Excellence Awards, a ceremony dubbed ‘Papaye Our Day’ for the pupils and students.
The event witnessed cultural musical performances from a section of the schoolchildren who entertained parents and invited guests with their various traditional dances.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Papaye Fast Foods, Divine Asiedu, said the selection of the award winners was based on a set of comprehensive assessment criteria by their schools, including reflective thinking, positive values as well as initiative and creativity.
“We wish to pledge our unflinching support for academic excellence and will continue to do anything within our means to encourage and reward academic excellence,” he said.
