The Parliamentary Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture has been directed to investigate the cause of the poor performance of the Black Stars and report to the House.
First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei-Wusu, having regard to the statement and comments on the early exit of Ghana from the ongoing AFCON by Members of Parliament (MPs), directed the Committee to investigate it.
The Committee has up to the end of February 2022 to submit its report.
The First Deputy Speaker further directed that the Official Report of the day’s proceedings, capturing the proceedings be transmitted to the Minister responsible for Youth & Sports for appropriate action.
