Pastor Flays ’Babies With Sharp Teeth’

A KUMASI-based pastor, Rev. John Kwaku Appiah, has descended heavily on young politicians who have developed a penchant for publicly hurling insults at elderly people in society without provocation.

“How can you insult statesmen like Jerry John Rawlings and Nana Akufo-Addo, who can be your grandfather?”  he asked rhetorically.

He was speaking during the ordination ceremony of six pastors at the Faith Outreach Ministry at Anloga in Kumasi, where he is the Founder and General Overseer.

Rev. Kwaku Appiah said it is unacceptable for foul-mouthed young politicians, popularly known as ‘Babies with sharp teeth’, to insult the elderly anyhow. He stated that there should be decency in the political arena so that the insults, insinuations and came-callings would be relegated to the background.

According to him, politics is about the sharing of ideas which are geared towards transforming the state and creating wealth for the people to enjoy.

He therefore said politicians that have made it their habit of publicly insulting their colleagues should bow their heads in shame and turn over a new leaf.

The six pastors have spent several months under the tutelage of Rev. Kwaku Appiah and other seasoned men of God as they were trained to become pastors.

Rev. Kwaku Appiah admonished the newly ordained pastors not to follow fake men of God who churn out fake prophecies to amass wealth overnight.

According to him, the pastoral work is a calling by God – the creator of mankind. Therefore, pastors that are duping people in God’s name would not escape the wrath of God.
