Digital marketing and payment company, PayBoy, has announced the termination of its agreement with ‘defunct’ Menzgold Ghana Limited.
The agreement was to enable PayBoy facilitate the payment processes of Menzgold’s clients whose funds have been locked for months.
But in a statement dated May 29, 2020, PayBoy says following the arrest of some of its officials on Wednesday May 27, an emergency meeting was held on Friday, May 29 and it was resolved that PayBoy should opt out of “Payment Facilitation Agreement.”
The agreement was signed on February 7, 2020, according to the release issued by PayBoy’s management.
