Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew met President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the United Kingdom (UK) after his side prevailed over Thomas Partey’s Arsenal 3-0 in the English Premiership on Monday.
President Akufo-Addo was in London to launch the government’s flagship tourism drive projects but took time off his busy schedule to be at the Selhurst Park for the big game when Jordan Ayew scored the second goal for Crystal Palace.
Another Ghanaian who featured for Crystal Palace was Jeffrey Schlupp.
Jordan presented a portrait of his jersey to His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo.
Jordan has scored two goals and 3 assists in 26 games and holds the record as the only Ghanaian with most goals and assists in the history of the Premiership.
The President also conferred with British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson at No10, Downing Street in London.
