Pink FM Has Come To Stay – General Manager

As part of its efforts to satisfy the demand of its listeners, the management of Pink FM has announced that plans are far advanced to introduce exciting new programmes to educate, inform and entertain its listeners.

The general manager of Pink FM, Gordon Addai Baffour Jnr., said the new programmmes which will be aired very soon is being introduced to complement the station’s exciting array of programmes, adding “Pink Fm is ready to entertain viewers with good programmes.”

“We want to differentiate ourselves from a cluttered mass market and give our listeners and clients quality service for their time and money,” he told BEATWAVES in an interview.

According to the general manager, the station which was established to give radio listeners in Kasoa and its environs variety from most radio stations in the city, has come to stay.

He mentioned that the goal of the station is to make listeners recognise it as a viable and sustainable music-oriented station in Ghana today.

“The station’s programmes would range from news, music, entertainment, sports, politics and social issues,” he added.

He noted that apart from providing 24-hour service to its listeners, the station also hopes to become a force to reckon with in the broadcasting industry.

The general manager said the objective of the station was to deliver the kind of radio station that workers, listeners and advertisers would be passionate about, adding the station has positioned itself to grow businesses and help clients to reach their target groups.

He stressed that his outfit will continue to support the people in Kasoa and its environs, and hoped the people would also develop a cordial relationship with the station to help it serve them better.

According to him, the station had grown within the past years, with some of its programmes becoming the industry benchmark.

He cautioned the presenters of the station to realise at all times the impact of spoken words and ensure that the airwave was not used to create disunity among the people.
