Plan-B FM Is Here To Stay – Director Of FreeMinds Communication Ltd

The Director of FreeMinds Communication Limited, Dr. Martin Asare-Aniagyei has said that one of the core reason for establishing Plan-B FM, a Tema base commercial radio station is activate Africa’s alternative plans to bring back the African dignity and to ensure that humanity is brought back to its original purpose.

Addressing a gathering after an organized health-walk, one of the activities marking the relaunch of the radio station, Dr. Asare-Aniagyei noted that the station has come to stay and will not be like others who started very well only to stop broadcasting after a certain period of time.

“We set up the radio station with one of the key objectives being the frontiers of information dissemination” Dr. Asare-Aniagyei remarked and added that the radio station can only get better.

Continuing with his address, Dr. Asare-Aniagyei noted that management of the station is currently working on a few changes in its programme line-up for the year 2022 geared towards fuller satisfaction of the radio station’s listeners and patrons.

According to him, plans are far advanced to improve the already existing contents on the station and added that some amendments of some of the contents would be looked at as the station prepare itself to usher in the year 2022. “We at FreeMinds Communications and Plan-B FM commit to abide by the ethics of our profession and to ensure that our listeners are not only informed but educated entertain and above all relax while we make them laugh while in tune with God with our religious contents,” he commented.

Explaining the rationale behind the name Plan-B FM, the FreeMinds Communication Limited boss pointed out that Pan-B means an alternative plan of action. Going a step further, he said “It is our believe that the Plan A that the world has used so far has failed and is getting worse. An economic order where the poor get poorer and the rich get richer, world order based on racial and tribal lines, environmental degradation, the current resurgence of the LGBTQI menace etc.”

He opined that it is time that Africa at large and Ghana in particular activate alternative plans to bring back humanity to its original purpose.

Touching on recruitment prior to post-test-transmission, the FreeMinds Communication Limited director said that when the company was recruiting personnel at the initial stage of Plan-B FM, management had to carefully select competent, dedicated, passionate and above all non-corrupt media personnel among those who applied for employment.

According to him, it was important to take a critical look at the aforementioned quality traits in deciding who gets employed and added that the company has plans to start other media house under FreeMinds hence the need to bring on board persons who align with the ideologies of the company.

He assured listeners that the radio station is poised to deliver to them very exciting contents in 2022 and urged them to stay glue to their radio sets. “They should expect something new and exciting from Plan-B FM next year,” Dr. Aniagyei continued.

Apostle Kingsley Agyenim Boateng, the host of ‘Aseda Mmere’ one of the flagship programmes of Plan-B FM who led the health-walk was full of appreciation for the numerous listeners who joined him embark on the walk through some principal streets of Tema metropolis.

According to him it is important to fuse religion in whatever one does adding that the involvement of God in our daily lives could only encourage us to live righteous life styles. He appreciated listeners of Plan-B FM who since the inception of the radio station have always tuned in and contributed by calling into some of the radio station’s programmes.

He was hopeful that the Plan-B FM can only get bigger and better owing to the direction the owners are moving the radio station.

“We want to say to Ghanaians and in particular our listeners that we are so grateful for tuning and sticking with us throughout journey from day one. We promise to deliver more than we are doing so now. We love them and will always make sure that give them the best of our contents,” Apostle Agyenim said.
