The Board of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) has pledged to cooperate with the two investigative bodies probing the ‘Contracts For Sale’ scandal that has rocked the Authority’s suspended Chief Executive Officer, AB. Adjei and his private company, Talent Discovery Limited (TDL).
President Akufo-Addo on Thursday, August 22, 219, suspended Mr. Adjei over his alleged procurement misconduct and subsequently referred the matter to CHRAJ and the Special Prosecutor for investigations.

Douglas Boateng, said it welcomed the President’s directive to conduct investigations into the matter.
It assured the public that upon the conclusion of the said investigations, the role of the Board of the PPA in the granting of approvals for Restricted tendering and Single Source procurement in accordance with Sections 38, 39, 40 and 41 respectively of the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended will be understood.
Some investigations by freelance journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, revealed that Talent Discovery Limited (TDL), a company incorporated in June 2017, won a number of government contracts through restrictive tendering.
Mr. Adjei is alleged to be a shareholder and director of TDL, presenting a case of a referee and player at the same time.
Mr. Azure Awuni reported that the company was engaged in selling contracts.
Undercover encounters with the General Manager of the Company, Thomas Amoah, revealed that the company was selling a GH¢ 22.3 million road contract to K-Drah Enterprise, a fake company Manasseh used for the investigation.
This contract was awarded to B-Molie Limited, a company Mr Amoah said was a sister company of TDL.
