Prince Adam

The Executive Director of Northern Youth for Peace and Development (NYUPED), a non-governmental organization, Prince Hardi Adams, has declared his intension to contest the Yendi Parliamentary seat.

He is aspiring to lead the ruling New Patriotic Party in that constituency.

He sees himself as capable of alleviating the plight of the people of the constituency and believes his broad knowledge in the business world places him in pole position to serve his people better than his competitors.

Prince Hardi Adams is no stranger to changing the narratives of the “underserved” as his charity organisation has over the years championed the fight against youth from the three Northern Regions migrating to the south in search of ‘greener pastures’.

His desire to go into politics he told DGN Online, is driven by his desire for change coupled with the performance of President Nana Akufo-Addo through his people-centered policies.

He wants to win the Yendi seat to support the President towards maintaining permanent peace in Yendi in particular and Dagbon as a whole.

Mr. Adams has in the past used his charity organisation to help some youth form the north who hitherto were migrating to the south in search of menial jobs and trained them in several endeavours, such as Agriculture, Entrepreneurial and Employable skills training and transportation.

The charity organisation has also attended to the poor and has provided early childhood education scholarship to needy children in the communities in the Northern Region.

Prince Hardi Adams who is the Founder and Board Chairman of Prinhadv Group of Companies, which include Prinhad Hotel at Lapaz, is a well-known figure in the Yendi Constituency.

He is the grandson of the late famous Gushie-Naa Bawa Yakubu, the first Inspector General of Police.

He has appealed to the delegates of the NPP to elect him as the Parliamentary candidate of the NPP in Yendi.
