Prince David Osei, Others Honoured At AFYSA 22

A number of notable personalities and celebrities including Prince David Osei were honoured at the second edition of the annual African Youth Showbiz Awards (AFYSA) 2022 held at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) last Friday.

The event themed “Awarding Creative Youth Across Africa,” seeks to acknowledge the valuable contributions of individuals, businesses, and organisations who had impacted the growth of the country in areas such as politics, health, education, sports and showbiz.

The ceremony, which was graced by a number of important personalities including celebrities, journalists, as well as other stakeholders in the creative industry, witnessed historic live musical performances from the likes of Kweku Mortey, Emmy Gee, Pinky Pecks, Kwesi Zane, and Legendary Leroy.

With over 30 categories, some of the personalities who were honoured at the event include Reginald Robertson, TV Personality of the Year, Osei Kyei Baffour, Fashion Designer of the Year, Princy De model, Photo Model of the Year, Reality Images, Photographer of the Year, Lucy Fiagome, Entrepreneur of the Year, Samuel Quaye Impact, Youth Advocate/Activist of the Year, among others.

Some personalities in the creative industry who received honorary awards include George Clifford Owusu (Entertainment Editor, DAILY GUIDE Newspaper), Sammy Flex (CEO of Flex Newspaper), Nana Akua Addo, Iona Reine, Augustine Ewiah, Vicky Zugah, Kalybos, Abena Kyei Boakye, Maxbel Coleman, Elorm Aba, and Afrima Kpodo.

Others are Janet Smith, Edith Kwansema Arthur, Christian Agyei Frimpong, Afua Adu Gyamfua, Rose Ashley Agyei, Brah Khelly, Queen Afriyie and a host of others.
