Quamina MP and late dad
Musician Quamina MP on Saturday, April 24, buried the remains of his late father, Mr. Fiifi Buckman Amonoo.
This was after a sizable funeral ceremony in Mankessim in the Central Region, attended by a number of showbiz personalities who went to support their colleague.
Quamina MP lost his dad in an accident involving him. The accident occurred on the Accra-Akosombo highway. Quamina MP escaped unharmed but his dad wasn’t lucky. Reports at the time indicated he died few hours after he was admitted at the hospital.
Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, Dope Nation and Kofi Mole among others were some of the showbiz personalities spotted at the funeral of Mr. Fiifi Buckman Amonoo, popularly known as Bongo.
Quamina MP, who released a tribute to eulogise his father a few weeks ago, revealed that his funeral date would have been his 64th birthday.
“He’s always been there…Tomorrow, God willing, is his birthday…Coincidentally, tomorrow we lay him to rest…Happy birthday in advance Daddy… Love you,” the musician wrote in an Instagram post last Friday.
