SOCIAL MEDIA influencer and Ghanaian TikTok creator and actor, Quecy Official, born Shadrack Arhin Lawson, has dismissed rumours about his sexuality, insisting he is a heterosexual man.

Quecy Official made the disclaimer during a TikTok live session, stating that although he mostly creates content behaving like a woman, he is not gay. “In as much as I mostly make content behaving like a woman, I am not a ‘Kojo Besia’, and I want to be clear on that. I am a 100 percent man, not a gay,” he said.

Quecy Official, known for his comic skits where he often cross-dresses and plays female characters, has for years been trailed by speculation about his sexuality on social media.

The rumours intensified after TikToker Captain Caesar went live on TikTok to accuse him of being a member of the LGBTQ+ community, sharing screenshots of an alleged chat in which Quecy Official was purportedly propositioning another man who had returned from abroad for the Christmas festivities.

Quecy Official, at the time, vehemently refuted the claims, describing the trending screenshots as fake and an agenda to tarnish his image. He accused Captain Caesar of being behind the edited chat.

According to Quecy Official, he was clarifying his sexuality for the sake of his brand and fans who have continued to question his lifestyle because of his feminine style of content creation.

He maintained that his female persona is strictly for entertainment and content creation purposes and should not be misconstrued.
