The Railway Ministry is still battling thieves of its tracks and other materials being used to reactivate the moribund railway transportation in the country.
Even as many of the thieves are arrested, some manage to sell the items to scrap dealers.
Last week, the ministry reportedly organised a sensitisation programme in areas prone to such thievery -Kumasi through to Ejisu, Juaso, Nkawkaw and Anyinam.
The picture shows a truck laden with stolen railway tracks destined for scrap dealers. It is one of many arrests by the Police.
Public-Police cooperation and sensitisation is the only solution to the challenge many have observed.
