The torrential rain which lasted for an hour has caused havoc in Asamankese and its surrounding communities in the West Akyem Municipal of the Eastern Region last night.
The heavy downpour accompanied by thunderstorms and windstorms as gathered took off the roofing sheets of several homes, and warehouses of Third Force Company Limited.
Thousands of goods and services of the Third Force Company Limited were also damaged after its main warehouse roof was ripped off.
The rain also destroyed a lot of plantain and maize farmers in the Municipality.
Meanwhile, the officials of NADMO are on the grounds to access the affected areas.
