NON-GOVERNMENTAL Organization, Rainbow Trust Foundation, has together with Chief Executive Officer of one of its main partners, Book Aid International UK, visited some of its beneficiary schools in Ghana.

The Rainbow Trust Foundation and Book Aid International UK went on the journey to see the progress and impact of their contributions to the schools and what could be done in the future to help the students and the schools to progress on the academic front.

Some of the schools toured were Adjei Kojo Basic School, Larteh Presbyterian School (24th July, 2018), Whindo Methodist Primary and Junior High School in Takoradi and Sekondi Library (31st July, 2018), amongst others.

The officials who embarked on the visits were Alison Tweed, CEO of Book Aid International; Joyce Phyllis Ampofo, CEO of Rainbow Trust Foundation; Emmanuel Kwesi Quayson, Board Chairman of Rainbow Trust Foundation; John Anang, Executive Member; among others.

Rainbow Trust Foundation exists to provide books and academic materials to both underprivileged schools and children in both the rural and urban areas and also to provide community libraries to most areas in Ghana.

Recently, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Svani Group Limited, a leading automobile company, Thomas Svanikier, donated a pickup van to the Rainbow Trust Foundation.

The donation was aimed at assisting the non-governmental organization to distribute books and other learning materials to deprived schools and children across Ghana.
