American rapper Offset has been shot outside a casino in Florida, sparking fresh concern among fans and the music industry.
The 34-year-old artist, best known as a member of Migos, was injured on Monday evening at the valet area of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.
Police say the shooting happened after 7:00 pm and resulted in non-life-threatening injuries. Two suspects have reportedly been detained, while investigations remain ongoing.
Offset is currently in the hospital and in a “stable” condition, according to his representatives.
The rapper rose to fame alongside Quavo and Takeoff as part of Migos, the group is behind hits like ‘Versace’ and ‘Bad’ and ‘Boujee’.
He was previously married to Cardi B, with whom he shares three children. The couple separated in 2024.
The incident comes years after tragedy struck the group, when Takeoff was shot and killed in 2022.
Police say more details will be released as the investigation continues.
