Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover presenting the PA system to the leadership of the fisherfolk
THE MEMBER of Parliament (MP) for Tema East and Deputy Minister of Transport, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has described as unprecedented the level of development undertaken by the Akufo-Addo administration in his constituency.
In view of that, he believes it will be prudent to maintain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the forthcoming general election.
He made the call at a meeting with some fisherfolk in his constituency in the Greater Accra Region to account for his eight-year tenure in office as their legislator.
The accountability forum organized by the MP for Tema East was to afford him the opportunity to tout his achievements since assuming office.
Speaking at the Tema Landing Beach, the MP mentioned several developmental projects in the constituency, such as the 75 per cent asphalting of some major roads, the construction of a new NHIS office at Tema Newtown, amongst others.
He believes the achievements will propel his constituents to maintain the NPP in the 2020 elections.
Some fisherfolk also raised several issues affecting their operations, particularly recent pirate attacks on their activities.
The Tema MP took the opportunity to donate some public announcement (PA) systems to the Tema Canoe Landing Beach to help in the dissemination of information.
