Rev. Abbeam Danso Exposes Detractors

Rev. Dr. Abbeam Danso

ONE OF Ghana’s creative gospel musicians, Rev. Dr. Abbeam Danso, who has carved a niche for himself in the gospel industry in Ghana and UK, has declared that he is not ready to wage war against those who want to destroy and blackmail him to make him lose focus on the good things he is doing.

The man of God, credited with number songs which include Nhyira, You Are Great, All My Works, Bre Bre, Power and Honour among others, warned those making baseless allegations against him that, he sleeps with women among others without proof to desist from such act.

Having sung for several years and performed on a number of platforms in Ghana and Europe, Rev. Dr. Danso, who is also the founder of Abbeam Institute of Technology in Kasoa, said sometimes he feel so worried when people try to destroy others who are contributing to the development of the country as well as the lives of the people.

According to him, it was very bad for people to deliberately design an agenda to tarnish hard earned reputation of innocent people including him, adding that he had decided not to respond to the vicious attacks on his personality on social media, which were a bunch of lies.

In a chat with BEATWAVES, he said, “I have never committed any crime or sin against anybody. The news out there is fake and Ghanaians must not pay any attention to it.”

He described those using social media platform to make ungodly statements about him as a bunch of people who lacked sense of direction.

“They are fighting a lose battle. I don’t want to listen to them because am a focused person. I don’t want to talk about their utterances because they don’t make sense to me,” he said.

“I have noticed that whenever someone wants to do something unique in this country, people will try to bring him down. All the stories they have carved around me on social media does not make sense,” he added.

Mad at his detractors, he challenged them to produce evidence of wrongdoing against him, which BEATWAVES believes they cannot as it simply does not exist.

He, however, described the allegations as wicked fabrications punishable by God and doomed to fail.

The man of God declared that God was his witness and protector and knew he had worked tirelessly to improve the lives of many people in society, and that he had operated in the society with absolute integrity and transparency.

Though he is doing his best to withstand international pressures that intend to whisk him away from Ghana, Rev. Danso said he was ever ready to place his great wealth of experience at the disposal of all those who desire to improve their music and pastoral  skills to promote the teaching of Christ.

He admonished Ghanaians to start supporting each other to ensure a united nation.

He also cautioned the media to cross-check facts before publication, and not allow themselves to be used by unscrupulous persons with selfish interests.
