Ricky Anokye
Ricky Anokye, renowned media personality and artiste manager who has been behind a lot of television contents, has lost his father.
Ricky is also one of Ghana’s most dynamic event organisers who is credited with a number of events to promote Ghanaian artistes and music in the international scene.
According to him, his late father, Reverend David Kofi Anokye who died a few months ago would be buried in his Hometown, Agona Asante in the Sekyere South District on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
The late Rev. Anokye was a former Returning Officer of the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC), a Class One Referee and professional teacher for over 40 years.
He also worked as a Presbyterian Minister serving in the capacities of Deputy General Manager of Presby Schools in Ashanti, Presbytery Clerk and Presbytery Chairperson in the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
Reverend Anokye was survived by a widow, Mrs. Mabel Anokye and four children. Ricky Anokye, television creative and content expert and Frank Anokye, entertainment journalist formerly with the Chronicle newspaper, now domiciled in the USA, are two of Reverend Anokye’s children.
