Sammi Awuku, Samira Visit Abidjan With NPP Records

Sammi Awuku, NPP National Organizer

PRESIDENT NANA Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s performance in office has been preached to Ghanaians living in Abidjan, the capital of Cote D’Ivoire.

This was when Sammi Awuku, the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, led a powerful NPP delegation to interact with Ghanaians in Abidjan on Sunday.

The visit to Abidjan forms part of the party’s programme to reach out to Ghanaians in the Diasporas to help them appreciate the good works of the government.

Mr. Awuku, in his address, described the President as the best leader for the country, calling on Ghanaians in the Diasporas to join hands with colleagues home to renew the mandate of the President.

He described the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a ‘scary alternative’, urging Ghanaians to continue to believe in the policies and programmes of the NPP.

On her part, the Second Lady admonished Ghanaians against deception by the NDC. She indicated that the modus operandi of the opposition party is to throw out lies and mud against the good works of the government. She has, therefore, called on Ghanaians to interrogate the propaganda that has persistently been churned out by the NDC and reject the party in the 2020 general election.

The NPP team comprised Emmanuel Attafuah Danso, Director of International Affairs; Hassan Tampuli, CEO of the NPA; NPP organizers for Bono, Ahafo, Western and Western North regions, among other party members.

Mr. Awuku and his team, earlier on Saturday, also visited Yamoussoukro, Bouake and other northern cities in Cote D’Ivoire, where they preached the government’s policies and achievements to the various Ghanaian communities there.
