Sarkodie Set To Speak At 2017 Africa Dialogues Conference

Rapper Michael Owusu Addo, known in showbiz as Sarkodie, is scheduled to speak at the Africa Dialogues Conference scheduled for Saturday, June 3 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

Sarkodie who was ranked the 19th most influential Ghanaian by ETV Ghana in 2015 is among 18 other speakers slated for brand new thought-leadership event.

Africa Dialogues is an African thought-leadership platform that focuses on broad-ranging discussions on governance and human rights, education, youth unemployment, infrastructure, public health, gender and income inequality, Africa’s economies and urban development towards helping Africa attain AGENDA 2063 and SGDs 2030.

On February 27, last year, Sarkodie was invited to address a conference of students at Harvard University in the United States, where he shared his life experiences as one of Africa’s successful musicians.

The BET award winner empowered students by speaking about his actual life experience as a musician who suffered limitations and challenges while growing up, but managed to achieve his dream with determination and hard work.
