Shatta Wale
Controversial dancehall act, Shatta Wale, has allegedly confessed to allegations that he attempted to rape a lady friend of Nigerian music star, Burna Boy.
In a series of tweets and Insta story posts, the Ghanaian artiste in his confession also accused Burna Boy of being a rapist to prove they are all the same.
Burna Boy had earlier accused Shatta Wale of raping his lady friend he travelled with to Ghana.
“@Shattawalenima, You tried to rape the girl I brought to Ghana back then. I won’t say her name. But I know what you and Koffi did. That’s the real reason I want your teeth and blood on the floor. I just want you to fight me like a man. Even if I know you are just an unhealthy dog. I could have gotten you killed ages ago if I wanted. But you are not worth it. You’re just a sick puppy. Rapist,” Burna Boy wrote on social media.
In a response, Shatta Wale admitted Burna’s claim and even went on to make jokes about it, describing Burna Boy’s anger against him as ‘raping jealousy’.
He wrote, “Because he is a rapist, he is jealous I did same to his girl cuz (because) that’s his job. Raping jealousy. @burnaboy.”
He said Burna Boy was only angry because he reciprocated an action he took on a Ghanaian Instagram model.
He alleged that Burna Boy raped and beat up a young lady, Matilda Hipsy, after refusing to succumb to anal sex.
Shatta Wale wrote, “Burna Boy, your m*daaaaaa. You r*pe Matilda Hipsy self we no talk. Kwasiaaaaaa U deh tries chop Matilda en as weh she says no weh u bat am. You tink we don’t know (sic)…”
Both Shatta Wale and Burna Boy had been attacking each other on social media over the Ghanaian comments on Nigerian artistes and their lack of support for Ghanaian musicians, which later led to the rape accusations.
