This year’s edition of the much anticipated music and cultural festival dubbed ‘Ghana Party In The Park’ will take place on Saturday at Trent Park in London, United Kingdom (UK).
‘Ghana Party in the Park’ is recognised as the biggest African event marking the climax of the entertainment season for the African communities in the UK.
It is a family fun day outdoor event which brings Ghanaians and other African nationals on one platform to network and promote the rich Ghanaian culture and music to the rest of the world.
The much hyped event will be headlined by Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and Nigeria singer Mayorkun.
The two dynamic acts will be performing live at the event for the first time. And families who will attend the festival will enjoy good music, and a wide variety of games and activities.
Some of the activities on the day will include arts and craft exhibition, cultural troupe dancing, durbar of chiefs, live band music, fashion show, product sales among others.
This year’s event, BEATWAVES gathered, will also feature an incredible line-up of artistes who are expected to mount the stage alongside the headline acts.
Some artistes billed to rock the festival include Gyakie, Kelvynboy, Kofi Kinaata, Eugy Official, and Camidoh.
Ofori Amponsah, KK Fosu, Kofi Nti, Sydney and Barosky will also thrill fans at the event with some live band music.
Guests will be treated to fresh and incredible tunes ranging from hip-hop, high-life, afro pop, among others.
The likes of Sarkodie, King Promise, Fuse ODG, Stormzy, Sway, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, and many more international acts have all performed at the festival, which attracts thousands across the globe.
