After a successful London premiere last month, ‘Shuki’ is set for the big screens in Ghana next week.

It will be premiering at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra on August 3 from 7:00pm and 9:00pm, and it is anticipated to attract hundreds of movie enthusiasts.

The grand red carpet event will also have cast and crew, including Kofi Adjorlolo, Frank Artus, James Gardener, Peter Ritchie, Matilda Asare, Hassana Sampah and Gabriella Sampah, in attendance.

Produced by Overflow Productions & Global Goals Ghana Limited and directed by Salifu Zakari, ‘Shuki’ is described as a hilarious romantic masterpiece.

The director brought two different worlds, mindsets, views and cultures together to tell a story of deceit, betrayal, love and strength.

‘Shuki’ is a romantic drama that follows the lives of a couple ? Dennis (Frank Artus) and Shuki (Hassana Sampah).

After dating city girls, Dennis decides to marry a village girl for a change. The story gets interesting when the village wife Shuki changes from ‘analogue’ to ‘digital’ with the help of Dennis’s brother, Derrick.

The suspense builds up when Dennis starts to suspect Shuki of cheating on him since she suddenly spends all her time on social media. What do ‘analogue’ and ‘digital’ mean? Find out in this romantic comedy drama as the story unfolds.

In current society, people are addicted to phones, computers, tablets and other technological devices.

They spend more time on social media pages than they do to their relationships, and that is the subject matter the movie explores.
