Spanish Embassy Partners Made In Ghana Europe Festival

In partnership with the Spanish Embassy in Accra and the Ghana Embassy in Madrid, Made In Ghana Consulting Ltd will host Made in Ghana_Europe Trade Show and Festival in Madrid come August.

According to the organisers, Madrid was chosen to host the combined trade show, Conferences and Arts Expo in Europe.

The fair will exhibit products and services by Ghanaian entrepreneurs from Ghana and across Europe.

This was disclosed by a Director of Made in Ghana Consulting Ltd, Tony Bonsu after a fruitful meeting of his organisation and the Spanish Embassy in Accra last week.

“The festival is expected to attract members of AGI, GEPA, Spain-Ghana Chamber of Commerce as well as businesses owned by Ghanaians across the 26-nation European Union,” says Mr. Bonsu.

“It seeks to be the preferred reference point for Ghana’s biggest players in business, tourism, arts, and culture” hints Mr. Bonsu.

Asked what the key goals of the festival are, Mr. Bonsu says; “It aims at amplifying Ghana’s trade through the exhibition of products & services; Our Culture and the best of our Talent (creative arts)
Made in Ghana_Europe, which is organized by Made In Ghana Consulting Ltd is in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy in Madrid, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture, the Spanish Embassy in Accra, Casa África & Spain-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (SGCC).

Referring to it as a “laudable project”, the Spanish Ambassador to Ghana, Javier Gutiérrez pledged his embassy’s support for the Project ensuring the facilitation of Partnership with organisations relevant to the success of the Festival.

He also pledged to facilitate the participation of Spanish artistes to perform, possibly collaborate and have a Masterclass with locals to benefit both markets…
Brand Ambassador Samini reiterated the organizers’ plans to ensure this collaboration comes to fruition.

In preparation for the launch of the project at the Ghana Embassy in Madrid this May, core Executives of the Planning team are expected to pay a courtesy call on His Excellency Muhammad Adam, Ghana Ambassador to Spain, and attend various meetings with key organisations and partners in Spain before April 20, 2022.

The organisation includes the leadership of the Ghana Union in Madrid. The team will then meet with Executives of Madrid Convention Bureau, Proxima Estacion, and Skyline Eventos- local event managers of the festival in Spain before embarking on a tour and production meetings with the technical team of IFEMA, Madrid, venue for the main festival.

Made in Ghana-Europe is part of the global project launched by the Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Thomas Mbomba, at his Ministry last August.
