SSNIT-Kade Marks Customer Service Week

This year’s customer service week was celebrated in grand style at the Kade branch of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) in the Eastern Region, with a slew of activities.

From Monday, October 2 through Friday, October 6, 2023, SSNIT staff educated people at the Suhum market about the importance of insurance and its role in national growth.

In her interactions with the public, Acting Branch Manageress of the Kade-SSNIT, Marian Adjei sold out the new SSNIT product, Self-employed Enrolment Drive, which matches with SSNIT’s aim to extend pension coverage to all workers, including those in the informal sector.

She also stated that the Customer Service (CS) Week celebration, which is an international event held annually in the first week of October, allows SSNIT officials to interact with their customers and gain first-hand information on how to improve their services to their satisfaction.

This week’s event emphasizes the value of customer service and appreciation.

“Customer Service Week provides an opportunity for the Trust to highlight our steadfast commitment to providing great customer service, especially since customers hardly get time to visit SSNIT offices around the country,” she noted.

According to Marian, they saw it as an excellent opportunity to bring their services to the people of Suhum, particularly the self-employed.

“The newly registered self-employed members were given branded SSNIT handkerchiefs and Key Holders. The people of Suhum were astonished as they weren’t expecting such a visit from the Trust. They were very appreciative that the Trust had them at heart,” she told the paper.
