Stakeholders Urged To Promote Ghanaian Music

Kwasi Adu Yeboah, an event organiser, has called on the music stakeholders in the country to come together and work as a team to promote and protect Ghanaian music.

He told this reporter in a chat that Ghanaian music, which is recognized worldwide, could attract huge investment when the stakeholders come together to promote it on the global market.

“Let’s come together and work as a team to promote Ghanaian music in Ghana and beyond.” he stated.

Adu Yeboah, who is also artiste manager and CEO of Conbimac Limited, noted that the Ghanaian music industry had a bright future and that if it was marketed well the industry would see progress and it would reflect in the pockets of musicians.

He disclosed that he was poised to work closely with all stakeholders to promote Ghanaian music as well as the domestic tourism industry and expose our unique and authentic Ghanaian music to our numerous tourists.

According to him, he would soon host a series on musical programme that would bring Ghanaian and international musicians on one platform to market Ghanaian music as well as entertain music fans.

He however, disclosed his plans of organising a capacity building workshops for all the music industry players to upgrade their skills, adding that the workshop will be held in Accra and Kumasi.

The workshops which will feature renowned professionals in the music industry will deliberate on development in the music industry and help chart a collective way forward.
