STANBIC BANK Ghana yesterday honoured Ms. Linda Tenyah-Ayettey, a staff of DAILY GUIDE, for winning an award during the 25th Ghana Journalists Awards 2019.

Ms. Tenyah-Ayettey was honoured for emerging the Best in the Telecommunication Reporting category.

Stanbic Bank also congratulated DAILY GUIDE NETWORK (DGN) for its projection of the telecommunications sector in its news coverage.

Head of Marketing and Communications at Stanbic Bank Ghana, Mawuko Afadzinu, who presented a congratulatory cake, some souvenirs and a Stanbic Money Wallet Card with an undisclosed amount of money to Ms. Tenyah-Ayettey, said the gesture was in appreciation of her hard work.

“Some four weeks ago, the GJA recognized a number of media talents for the great job they carried out. I think the best form of recognition is what we get from this and Linda happens to be one of the bright spots in the set that was honored. For us at Stanbic, we believe the media serves as a mouthpiece for this society.

He therefore encouraged DGN and its reporters to continue with the good job that they were doing, see Stanbic Bank as their partners and continue to churn out impactful stories.

Editor of DAILY GUIDE, William Yaw Owusu, reacting to the gesture, thanked Stanbic Bank for the show of love towards DAILY GUIDE and its team of reporters.

“We are indeed grateful to your organization for the surprise and support. Long live our friendship,” he noted.
