Stars Getting Ready For Kenya ?

Black Stars

The Black Stars of Ghana yesterday started their rehearsal for their final African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Accra Stadium.

Though early days yet, with players still trickling in, the 19 in camp demonstrated glimpses of what to expect at the training session  when they host their Kenyan counterparts (Harambee Stars) this Saturday in Accra.

As usual, coach Kwasi Appiah and his technical staff took the team through recovery training, while they wait for the rest of the players who were expected in the country last night.

Asante Kotoko trio of Felix Annan, Amos Frimpong and Kwame Bonsu were expected to join the rest in camp last night after returning from Zambia for their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

With yet to arrive Kwadwo Asamoah and late replacement Daniel Opare, the team is currently based at the Tang Palace Hotel, Roman Ridge in Accra.

Ghana will be hoping to avenge the first leg loss to top the Group although both sides have already qualified for the championship in Egypt.
