Much anticipated event, “Sterling Jazz Parties,” which seeks to provide a platform for Jazz fanatics, Jazz enthusiasts, and lovers of great music to meet, interact, and network, has officially been launched in Accra.
The launch ceremony was held at the Kani Lounge, Kanda-Estates (adjacent the Kanda Post Office), and it was graced by a number of personalities from the creative arts industry, media, traditional rulers amongst others.
It was organised by Sterling DJ Jeff in partnership with Goodies Media Worldwide; Beffgroup Africa and a few other affiliates.
Sterling Jazz Parties is expected to bring together Jazz music fans on one platform to celebrate Jazz music, create quality friendships and business networks.
The event, which is predicted to become one of the most popular musical events in Ghana, will be held in some selected locations across the country.
Jazz music fans will be entertained by performances from Jazz legends and a few hand-picked Jazz DJs who will wow patrons with their turntable prowess and sparkling talents at these events.
BEATWAVES has learned that the locations and other details for the upcoming Sterling Jazz Parties, which aims at providing Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians who enjoy Jazz music with the best entertainment the globe has to offer, shall be made public via both traditional media and social media.
By bringing together International Jazz veterans and local icons, the event’s organisers have worked to ensure that the Sterling Jazz Parties become well-known on the world Jazz calendar in the coming years.
Sterling DJ Jeff, the founder/creator of Sterling Jazz Parties, stated during the launch that Jazz music is not as exclusive to the wealthy and the elderly as many would have us believe.
He opined that the moment is right to promote Jazz music, and that people will be treated to top-notch Jazz music at all Sterling Jazz Parties.
With over three decades of experience, Sterling DJ Jeff promised Ghanaians that his goal with the Jazz parties is to revive the previous love for Jazz music.
To accomplish this, Sterling DJ Jeff declared that Sterling Jazz Parties has become an institution, and that he and his team would bring the Jazz parties to every region of the country in the coming years.
Sterling Jazz Parties are a part of the preparation for the Fall Jazz Festival in 2024.
