Stonebwoy For ‘Trace Made In Africa’ In Portugal

Top-selling Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, will be storming Portugal in June at a music festival dubbed “Trace Made In Africa”.

The maiden edition of the festival being organised to celebrate the greatness of African culture through music will take place at iconic Alfândega do Porto in Portugal from June 24 to 26, 2022.

The organisers, BEATWAVES gathered, are stopping at nothing to ensure that they deliver a one-of-its-kind music festival which is expected to attract music lovers across the globe.

“Trace Made In Africa” festival has been described as the world’s largest afro-urban festival which will celebrate the greatness of African culture through music.

“More than a music festival, we are a celebration of greatness through culture, music, fashion, dance, lifestyle and art,” the organisers said in a statement published on their official website.

Stonebwoy, one of the headline acts for the event, will share the stage with some international acts and thrill music fans with their various songs.

The Ghanaian dancehall artiste is expected to raise the flag of Ghana high at the event.

With his creative style of performing, stagecraft and singing skills, Stonebwoy inspires millions of Ghanaians with his music which cuts across the continent and thus, appeals to anyone who loves quality.

He has performed on a number of international music festivals such as Reggae Sumfest, Afro Nation Festival in Portugal, Rotterdam Reggae Festival, Uppsala Reggae Festival among others,

Noted for his supreme and enticing stage presence that gets his audience asking for more, Stonebwoy is expected to delight fans at the festival with his danceable songs and stage craft at the festival.

He is known for having collaborations with international acts such as Jah Vinci, Trey Songz, Gappy Ranks, Randy Valentine, Wayne Wonder, General Pype Stylogee, Burna Boy and a host of others.

With his unique stage performances, Stonebwoy has shared the stage with acts such as Lauryn Hill, Alkaline, Busy Signal, Popcaan, Morgan Heritage and Wizkid.

Winner of several awards including VGMA Artiste of the Year and BET Best International Act: Africa (both in 2015), Stonebwoy featured on Morgan Heritage’s ‘Avrakadabra’ which was nominated for ‘Best Reggae Album’ in the 2018 Grammy Awards.
