Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has dismissed claims that Stonebwoy is his rival, saying their relationship isn’t as hostile as many believe.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Shatta Wale said the media and the public have exaggerated the tension between the two artistes.
According to him, they now live just two minutes apart, making the idea of them being rivals unrealistic.
“If Stonebwoy were my enemy, I wouldn’t live in the same area with him. We are just two minutes away from each other. I pass in front of his house every time I go out,” he said.
Shatta Wale also recalled their humble beginnings, noting that Stonebwoy previously lived in Ashaiman while he grew up in Lartebiokorshie Zongo.
He said both artistes have worked hard to achieve success and should not be portrayed as enemies.
Shatta Wale admitted that he sometimes teases Stonebwoy but urged fans not to take such exchanges personally.
“I just like teasing, but nobody should go personal. Let’s do things that will make the music healthy,” he said.
